Meet the Team

At Lady Outdoor Lifestyles, we believe in telling authentic stories from women who live, work, and thrive in the outdoors. Behind every article, photograph, and publication is a team of passionate hunters, anglers, shooters, conservationists, and storytellers who share one mission: to inspire and empower women to embrace the outdoor lifestyle with confidence and community.

On this page, you’ll get to know the editors, writers, photographers, and contributors who bring the magazine to life. Each member of our team brings unique experience and perspective—whether it’s in the woods, on the water, or at the range—that helps shape the content we create for you.

Together, we’re more than just a magazine team—we’re a sisterhood of women committed to celebrating the outdoors, preserving traditions, and encouraging the next generation to carry the torch forward.

Ashley Holm, founder of Dirty Red Outdoors, was born and raised in Central Texas, though she proudly calls the Hill Country home. She writes about hunting, conservation, and the growing role of women in the outdoors, blending her own experiences with a passion for preserving wild places. While her college degrees are all in criminal justice, writing has always come naturally—serving as both a creative outlet and a companion to her love of photography. Ashley jokes that she works to hunt and hunts so she can run her mouth about it later, a fitting reflection of her writing style that is as bold and honest as the hunts and topics she writes about.
